Macau, tropically hot Singapore and pleasantly warm Vietnam.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nHong Kong and Singapore were hectic, as during my previous trip &#8211; full of work related meetings. but still i had time in the afternoons to wander around. <\/p>\n<p>Hong Kong &#8211; as before &#8211; was crowded, full of locals and tourists, overflown with screaming neon advertisements and billboards; with Chinese from mainland waiting politely in the ques to expensive &#8216;branded&#8217; an interesting change after British-ish Hong Kong. old town was fine, casinos &#8211; boring and full of tasteless kitsch &#8211; trying [too] hard to be classy and stylish. i&#8217;ve never been to las vegas &#8211; On Saturday we&#8217;ve <a href=\"http:\/\/rentabike-kiosk.blogspot.se\/\">rented bikes<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?q=pasir+ris+park&#038;hl=en&#038;ll=1.382941,103.951735&#038;spn=0.024841,0.042272&#038;sll=1.377697,103.952326&#038;sspn=0.00621,0.010568&#038;t=m&#038;hq=pasir+ris+park&#038;z=15\">Pasir Ris Park<\/a> and drove around a bit. quick flight and we&#8217;ve landed in Saigon called nowadays Ho Chi Minh City to commemorate the bloody murderer of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conservapedia.com\/Ho_Chi_Minh\">hundreds of thousands<\/a> of Vietnamese People. instead of taking a taxi to the city center [ ~15$ ] we boarded on a crowded bus 152 which for less than 1$ took us to the <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?q=10.770748,106.698704&#038;num=1&#038;t=m&#038;z=16\">Ho Chi Minh City Bus Center\u200e<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>after a very short time in Saigon it became apparent that communistic in theory Vietnam has exploding free market economy [possibly less restricted by taxes than &#8216;the west&#8217; one on the Mekong Delta [25$\/peson] and another to Cu Chi tunnels [20$\/person]. bother were pretty good &#8211; better than what i expected. sadly in both cases our tour guides were pretty reluctant to talk about any political issues so we just learned that talking about the past in any different way than the line of party is a big no-no.<\/p>\n<p><!--\n\n\nvietnam - socks \n\nstreet sell\n\ncatholic church allowed to warship ancestors http:\/\/www.mccdpl.org\/ministries\/ancestor-veneration\n\nsingapore \n\nwe've taken 2 trips organized by vietjourneytours.com - on to the mekong delta, another - to co chi tunnels. \n2 trips or\n\na side-note: dragons in Singapore & Macau were much less creepy compared with those in Vietnam\n\nit's nice to see how widespread fttx is in Vietnam. sadly infrastructure might have pretty short lifetime taking into consideration how [un]orderly cables are laid \/ hanged and how unprotected the patch-panels are --><\/p>\n<p>pictures &#8211;
