while visiting Hong Kong this winter my colleague and ex-flatmate from Goteborg times took me to the Kowloon Byewash Reservoir / Golden Hill Country Park.
wild monkeys running around were biggest attraction for me. but the place is worth visiting even if you’re used to those food-stealing creatures – contrary to most of Hong Kong it’s quiet, or at least isolated from the noise of the city, you’ll hear birds and cicadas instead.
